Description

SECUNDA LUNARIS

THE PRECISION PENDULUM CLOCK WITH CALENDAR AND MOON PHASE

The moon is considered a mysterious companion of our earth, influencing the tides and all life on our planet. The wall clocks Secunda Lunaris from Erwin Sattler dedicates part of its elegant, silver-plated dial to the mystical satellite, which catches the viewer’s eye at first glance.
Time with separate seconds display, date, day of the week and moon phase are displayed in a timelessly beautiful way. The elaborately cambered, polished and blue annealed Breguet hands round off the face of this clock.

The precision pendulum clock allows a view of its gold-plated components and the Graham escapement with the agate pallets in the aperture under the second hand and through the cut-out in the front plate of the movement. Like the Classica Secunda the Secunda Lunaris is also a technical and visual highlight: the star-shaped gear wheel bridge, finely polished, shiny nickel-plated plates as a contrast to the gold-plated gear wheels, a ball-bearing pulley for the winding weight. During the winding process, a so-called power-maintaining mechanism takes over the pendulum drive. Maximum precision is also ensured by an aneroid box instrument with barometer display on the pendulum and a precisely calculated, freely movable compensation tube. The wall clocks Secunda Lunaris from Erwin Sattler is a technical marvel that adds a mysterious touch to any room.
